Raw Vegan Cabbage Rolls

The Best Raw Vegan Cabbage Rolls
1 large green cabbage or 2 medium
1 medium cauliflower (approx 2 lb / 920 g)
1 tsp each parsley and dill (more if desired)
1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes (more if desired)
6 tomatoes (1.5 lb / 690 g)
3/4 cups chopped chives
1 cup walnuts
1 lemon
2 dates
SOoooo if you want to get extra fancy you will want to start a day or two before you are going to eat this. Firstly you want to get the freshest cabbage / cabbages you possibly can, the fresher and higher water content the better this recipe turns out. Simply place the whole cabbage / cabbages in the freezer at least 12- 16 hours, this is the one day before step I would 100% recommend, it makes all the difference and when thawed leaves the cabbage leaves soft supple and cooked tasting!
PS you can leave it in there for days or weeks, makes it easier to store long term too. Take the cabbage out on the day you intend to make the cabbage rolls to start to thaw.
Next chop the cauliflower into a crumble, much easier in a food processor with the “s” blade or in smaller batches with the vitamix and tamper. Place the cauliflower crumble / “rice” on a cookie sheet and place in the freezer at least 6 – 8+ hours. After that amount of time you can store in plastic bags for weeks, or if on the day of the cabbage rolls simply take out and let thaw at room temperature.
The night before you are making the cabbage rolls chop the raw walnuts into a crumble as well, this simulates the “beef”, place it in a bowl of water to sit for 4 – 12 hours (any longer than 6 hours best in the fridge). This softens the walnuts, makes them easier to digest and removes some of the inhibitors and bitter flavour. When ready to make simply strain the nuts and place in a big bowl.
Once the cauliflower is thawed place it in a nut milk bag and squeeze out any excess liquid, this can be reserved to drink or make a soup base out of. Mix the squeezed cauliflower with the walnut crumble, add 1/3 – 1/2 cup chopped chives and let sit.
Grab the thawed / thawing cabbage and place it in a sink of hot water, if necessary. Cut the base of the cabbage so its easier to remove the leaves, carefully and slowly remove each leaf without tearing, you may ned run it under hot water while doing this at times. You are aiming for 12 – 18 leaves depending on the size, all sizes work well. Once you have all the leaves cut the thick bottom stem portion of the leaf off, about the size of a walnut, this makes it easier to roll.
Next your on the sauce, chop the tomatoes and place in the vitamix, add the lemon, pitted dates and sun dried tomatoes, blend till smooth and thick. Last add the remaining chives and herbs, pulse to mix in but still love some texture.
Mix 1/2 – 2/3 of the sauce with the cauliflower nut mix, stir in till well coated. Carefully take each cabbage leaf and fill with 1-3 scoops of the mixture, fold the bottom stem end over, then each side and finally the last flap, you may want to watch the video for that part. Carefully place each roll seam side down into a casserole dish, preferably a large one with handles.

Once all are rolled up add the remaining sauce and smooth on top!
You can serve them just like this, but if you want to take it to the next level then place the whole casserole dish into your dehydrator for 2-6 hours (I love pyrex casserole dishes because they fit perfectly in a 9 tray excalibur dehydrator!). Once the sauce dries up on top of the cabbage rolls they are perfectly ready, serve with a nice salad or on their own!!

If you do not have a dehydrator use your oven at it’s lowest setting with the oven door slightly open for 6 hrs.

I Hope you Love them as much as I do!!

THESE TINY LITTLE SEEDS making BIG news

It’s hard to believe, but one of the most reliable, safe, and inexpensive solutions for cancer has not only been marginalized by mainstream oncology, but by the alternative health crowd as well. Some insiders, even those among the well trained medically, decry laetrile or apricot seed effectiveness while fear mongering its supposed toxic elements.

So I need to address the toxic issue right away. The natural source of laetrile or B17 found most substantially in apricot seed kernels is legally available as long as it’s not promoted to cancer patient as food supplement only. That natural substance source is amygdalin. Unfortunately, many falsely believe this poses a serious cyanide poisoning threat.

The amygdalin compound has four molecules. Two are glucose molecules. The other two are cyanide and benzaldyhide. The latter two perform a couple of unusual metabolic activities: they are released by and into cancer cells only otherwise they remain in the amygdalin compound and are passed through.
It’s a very clever arrangement. The cancer cells depend on fermenting sugar (glucose) for their energy instead of oxygen. So the cancer cells attract the amygdalin compounds for their glucose, but are whacked when they metabolize those compounds that free the benzalldyhide and cyanide. The glucose is the sugar bait.
Cancer cells contain an enzyme that is not found in healthy cells, beta-glucosidase. This enzyme “unlocks” the amygdalin compound, releasing the deadly toxins within the cancer cellOnly cancer cells metabolize amygdalin. Healthy normal cells don’t.
Most non-cancerous cells contain another enzyme, rhodanese. The few free cyanide molecules that may conceivably escape are bound to sulfur molecules by rhodanese, creating harmless cyanates that are eliminated in the urine. Safe enough?
Many, many cancer victims have used apricot seeds to cure themselves, consuming 30 and more per day. Here’s an example from “down under” (Australia), quoted from a March 20, 2010 Sydney Morning Herald article by Jill Stark: “Paul Reid should be dead. Diagnosed with a rare, incurable lymphoma, he was given five years, seven tops, by his oncologist.”
His cancer curing protocol consisted of consuming 30 apricot kernels per day. Looks like he survived all that cyanide! The article included a photo of a healthy Reid, smiling with a platter full of fresh organic foods at age 68, 13 years after his prognosis. He did adjust his eating habits by eliminating red meat, processed foods, and sugar.

The Aussie newspaper’s article is here , along with the normal balanced reportage nonsense from mainstream “experts” who kill more than cure. This video is from G. Edward Griffin, investigative journalist who wrote the book World Without Cancer; The Story of Vitamin B17.
More Background on Laetrile’s Demise
Laetrile is used in some Mexican cancer clinics along with B-17 tablets. Sometimes laetrile is injected, but B-17 tablets also deliver laetrile. The discoverer of laetrile, Dr. Ernst Krebs, called laetrile B-17 because it structurally resembles the B vitamin chain, though not specifically any of the B vitamins known. He patented his procedure for extracting laetrile but never could get approval for treating cancer.

There was quite a scandal around B-17 or laetrile at the place where non-pharmaceutical cancer cures get shot down with improper testing or fraudulent reporting, The Memorial Sloane-Kettering (MSK) Cancer Institute in New York City.

Laetrile was banned by the FDA during the early 1970s despite its efficacy. One person who refused to go along with the denial and cover-up was Dr. Ralph Moss, who was hired by MSK as a science writer then promoted to head of public affairs. He was MSK’s PR man. But he eventually refused to lie or spin untruths. In his Moss’s own words:
Twenty years ago [1974 – this interview took place in 1994] I was hired at Memorial Sloane Kettering (MSK) Cancer Center in New York as the science writer, later promoted to assistant director of public affairs. Shortly after I went to work there I went to visit an elderly Japanese scientist, Kanematsu Sugiura, who astonished me when he told me he was working on Laetrile (B17), at the time it was the most controversial thing in cancer … reputed to be a cure for cancer.

We were finding this [laetrile’s efficacy] and yet we in public affairs were told to issue statements to the exact opposite of what we were finding scientifically, and as the years went by I got more wrapped up in this thing and 3 years later I said all this in my own press conference, and was fired the next day, ‘for failing to carry out his most basic job responsibility’ – ie to lie to the public about what goes on in cancer research.

Dr Sugiura, never renounced the results of his own studies [proving laetrile halted cancer], despite the fact they put enormous pressure on him to do so.

When I was at MSK a lot of very weird things started to happen to me, there was this cognitive distance between what I was told, and was writing about treatment, especially chemotherapy, and what I was seeing with my own eyes.

My Objection to FDA’s Ban

Ernst T. Krebs reportedly tested early laetrile safety by injecting himself. This was back in the 1960s. Dr. Krebs died in 1996 at the age of 85.
Apparently were no toxicity reports on the MSK animal studies with leatrile. The lab rats’ conditions were improved from induced cancers by laetrile and they didn’t die from the treatments or develop adverse side effects. So why was laetrile banned? If merely not effective, that’s it, good-by.

The FDA could consider it GRAS (generally regarded as safe) while not approving it for cancer. After all, they have approved drugs that have killed many.
It’s logical to assume laetrile or vitamin B-17 tablets were banned because it worked much better than anything Big Pharma could put together, without side effects, and a lot lower expense. That would put a serious dent into the cancer industry’s high profits.

Did you know that doctors administering chemotherapy in their own clinics and offices pay wholesale prices for expensive chemo and mark it up 50 to 100 percent in addition to their office fees? But you can buy apricot seed soft kernels by the bag for very little. Chemo kills all cells it comes into contact with. That’s what causes many so called deaths from cancer – mainstream medical treatments.

Amygdalin goes after cancer cells only. If your apricot kernel consumption leads to queasiness or anything unusual, take less. And make sure you have curbed sugar intake. Some who aren’t diagnosed with cancer take only a couple a day as a preventative. But you saw the Aussie story above. He took 30 apricot kernels daily with a good organic sans sugar diet to help cure his cancer.

Anti-Inflammatory Pineapple Smoothie

This Pineapple Smoothie Contains Cancer-Obliterating And Anti-Inflammatory Ingredients

Turmeric is one of the most well-known natural remedies when it comes to overall health. Curcumin, a substance found in turmeric, is effective at reducing inflammation. It has been shown to ease symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis such as inflammation and pain.

In multiple lab tests, curcumin has also been shown to block the growth of certain types of tumors. One study showed that a turmeric extract containing curcumin was able to stabilize colorectal cancer.
Other studies suggest that turmeric may be able to help protect against various skin diseases, Alzheimer’s disease, colitis, stomach ulcers, high cholesterol levels and various other conditions.

Lung Mixture

The Lung-Cleansing Drink
That Anyone Who Smokes Or Has Ever Smoked Needs To Use.

We all know that smoking is arguably the deadliest habit on the planet. That doesn’t stop a lot of us from doing it, though. Over 16 million people in the United States suffer from health issues caused by smoking. For every person it kills, a minimum of 30 people lives with a severe smoking related illness.

Even though we’re cutting back on cigarettes, they still linger. The damage it does to your lungs is often serious and irreversible. But for smokers and ex-smokers, you’re in luck! There is a drink that can help you cleanse your lungs of these toxins.

What’s in the Drink?

Three main ingredients make the drink work: turmeric, ginger, and onion. All three are packed with various health benefits, but combined they form a potent and tasty lung cleansing beverage.

Turmeric is a spice from India that is widely known for its vibrant gold color. It’s also praised for its health benefits, as many as 600 of them! It’s high in minerals and vitamins and has anticancer, antibacterial and antiviral properties (source). If this spice isn’t a part of your daily life already, it should be!

Ginger is most commonly used for settling an upset stomach, but it can do so much more. One, in particular, is the ability to reduce excess mucus in your lungs, which can happen as a result of smoking (source).

Finally, onions have powerful antioxidant and anticancer properties (source). It’s been used to treat some cancers, showing it can inhibit further growth of the cells. Not bad for a vegetable that’s known for making you cry and being self-conscious of your breath.

How to make

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. of turmeric
  • 400g of onion
  • Thumb sized ginger root
  • 400g maple syrup
  • 1L of water

Preparation

  1. Mix the sweetener into the water and heat until boiling
  2. Chop the ginger and onion and add to the mixture, bring back to a boil
  3. Add the turmeric and lower the heat to medium
  4. Heat until there is only half the original amount left
  5. Strain what’s left into a glass container
  6. Let it cool to room temperature then place in the fridge
  7. Consume 2 tbsp. daily, once in the morning and once in the evening, at least 2 hours after a meal

Smoking may be addictive, but it’s never too late to quit. It won’t be easy, but it will benefit you in the end. This drink is a great start for smokers and a better one for ex-smokers. Try it yourself and start breathing a little easier!

Blueberries

This Tiny Fruit Nosedives High Blood Pressure and Prevents Heart Attack

Nothing beats fruits when it comes to great health benefits, the tasty way.

One tiny delicious fruit has now been found to be the king of natural healing.

In fact, a new study conducted by University of Mississippi Medical Centre found that by adding this fruit to your diet, you will lower your blood pressure 7.5 points.

Even more importantly, decreases your risk of heart attack whooping 32%.

Blueberries have long been known to be the most powerful super-health-food on the planet earth, It carries more types of antioxidants than any other type of food and therefore fight free radicals and inflammations like nothing else. What’s more, they’re loaded with Vitamin C, fibre and the mineral, manganese all of which are essential for the body.

A cup of blueberries contributes only about 80 calories, so it’s a perfect snack for people on diet.

The answer is in a chemical compound called pterostilbene, which is found in blueberries and grapes. Pterostilbene helps lower blood pressure according to the findings of a new study.

A group of researchers conducted a randomized, double-blind study in which participants were administered different doses of pterostilbene extract up to 125 milligrams per day or a placebo (that does nothing).

All participants who were administered the extract showed a reduction in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Average drop was about 7.5 points.

Note that the researchers used extract in this study. You’d have to eat a lot of blueberries to get the same amount of pterostilbene. But since blueberries include so many other antioxidants, handful or two a day is plenty to get great health benefits.

Another research that focused on data from Nurses’ Health Study II reviewed the diets of 93,000 women. They discovered that those who included blueberries regularly in their diet were 32% less likely to get a heart attack compared to those whose diet was rich in other fruits and vegetables but not blueberries.

Both studies have one message – eat blueberries whenever you can!
